 Connector Optics Technologies

Connector Optics Technologies LLC is a 100% subsidiary of Connector Optics LLC. On 6th October, 2011 company has received a status of the resident of the Skolkovo Innovation Centre. As a member of  Skolkovo IT-cluster the company is to be engaged in development and production of active optic cables for the new generation of supercomputers.

Active optical cables by Connector Optics Technologies will be based on vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) and p-i-n photodiodes of Connector Optics. Their main competitive advantages are record performance (beyond 25 Gbit/s), competitive price and power consumption.

The market of VCSEL based high-speed active optical components is one of the fastest growing markets in the world. Active optical cables can be used wherever high speed data transfer for short distances (up to 200 m) is required.
